This webinar, presented by Alison Gill, Vice President of Legal and Policy at American Atheists, presents model legislation called the Do No Harm Act, which ensures that state law regards religious freedom as a shield to protect individuals rights, but never as a sword to discriminate or cause harm to others.

During this presentation concern was expressed that the pending U.S. Supreme Court decision in Fulton v. City of Philadelphia would make this model legislation irrelevant. However, the Court decision in Fulton was a very narrow ruling so the Do Not Harm Act remains a viable and relevant means to protect against religious discrimination.

This event is co-sponsored by Center for Freethought Equality and Secular Democrats of America.
