How can legislators ensure that everyone has access to healthcare, regardless of where they live and the religious affiliation of the providers available to them? As religious hospital systems expand, too many people are left without a secular alternative in many areas, which can result in denial of care.

State legislators and their staff are invited to a presentation by Alison Gill, Vice President of Legal and Policy at American Atheists, and Rachel Deitch, Director of Policy and Social Justice at the Center for Freethought Equality, about new, innovative policy solutions that will provide transparency and protect against religiously motivated discrimination in healthcare.

This program is brought to you by American Atheists, the Association of Secular Elected Officials, Center for Freethought Equality, and Secular Democrats of America.
